given two votes 1 for office work(Vista) and 2nd for home usage(Win7) I can't believe that my office vista(core 2 duo with 1 GB ram) boots faster than home win 7 (core i3 with 3 GB ram)

That depends upon the version you may use. You may use a vista basic at office and ulitmate at home.

" Version of Windows older than XP" This includes Windows 2000 as well. Possibly you should write " Version of Windows older than 2000"
