One need to have large rooms to assemble these large panel TVs. Therefore, I think 32" LED/LCD is the best replacement for the traditional CRTs. This much sized panels won't much affect the viewing distance and one don't have to shift to HD feeds as the standard resolution videos won't be affected much.. Can someone suggest the best 32 incher LED TV..Hey techtree experts i need some help....

Dear Deepankar, I think Philips 32 Inches Full HD LED 32PFL5556 (Series 5000) Television is the best option. I am also looking forward to buy a new TV to replace my old CRT. I plan to buy a TV with these: 1. 'Full' HD LED (I want to avoid 'HD' or 'HD Ready' or 'LCD' screens. Full HD means a resolution of 1920 x 1080. 2. Dynamic Contrast Ratio should be maximum to enhance viewing experience. Avoid anything below 1,00,000. The model which I mentioned above has DCR of 50,00,000:1! (Yes, 50 lakhs!) 3. Response Time should be minimal like 5ms or 4ms or 3ms like in above model. 4. The volume output should be at least 10W. The above model has 20W. 5. Picture Motion Ratio (PMR) should not be below 120 Hz. This has 240Hz. The model I mentioned is priced around Rs.32,000 on Flipkart. Other options with DCR of 30 lakhs: 1. LG 32 Inches Full HD LED 32LV3500 (Rs.34,760) 2. LG 32 Inches Full HD LED 32LV3730 (Rs.36,146) Based on DCR of 50 lakhs in Philips TV, I am saving money to buy it. I do NOT work for Philips. The specs of that model seem too good really. :)

Ideally would like the size to be 27 inches but one needs to see which co. manufactures "local dimming in full array LED LCD TV" or even a good "edge-lit" LED LCD TV. I don't see any brand offering this size with performance and features to match a well endowed Smart TV. Anybody ??
