i have a few questions.
i bought my phone from india last week and then moved to johannesburg
my questions are
1. can i use gtalk and yahoo messenger on n97
2. there are few preset options for the shortcut to the main screen eg:- acuweather, ndtv, facebook etc, what if u want some thing else on the main screen for eg a game or some other widget?
3. is it possible to disable the slide unlock function? if so how?
4. is it possible to use the n97 as a GPS, if so , where do i get the maps of cities?
5. last one, this is pretty lame question, where do i get a scratch card for the screen? i tried in india, but couldnt get one

This is an excelent phone with all leatest tecnologies.. But lookis like the price to little bit high. At tyhis recission time who would afford the price.

Nokia N97 is Symbian OS based and will not allow editing of MS Office. You will have to pay for getting this addon feature
When Nokia N97 will be available in INDIA? At present I am usuing N95, why should buy N97?
Nokia would definitely place the N97 to a price similar to iPhone 16GB that is 35,000/- approx 650-700 Euros in the international market...this is 99% sure.

Guys,
I-Phone is a Killer only because of its slick UI.
Those who have bought it, not even 5% will utilise the full capacity of the device like gps, applets etc
Most of them use it only as a flaunt device which sadly Nokia N97 cannot match , despite being technically superior.
