Compaq Compaq Presario V3228au

I had bought a V3228AU notebook in March 2007. Within 6 months the motherboard as well as the battery had to be replaced. Just 20 days after the expiry of my warranty the motherboard has again developed the same booting problem as before. This model seems to be prone for breakdowns. I am thinking of scrapping the notebook as spare parts and changing over to an assembled desktop.

Compaq model V3228au is just a damn worst product from compaq. my laptop stopped booting just one month after its warranty of one year had expired and since then these service centre have looted from me more than 15000/- rupees in just one year. now i went to market to get it repaired and you will be surprised to learn that the same problem which they were asking Rs.8000/- were done in market in just 1000/-. means the authorised service centres are again and loot centre. HP-compaq must hear to the customers grievances.

This is a product which needs to dumped in the garbage and never think of buying a product from HP or Compaq they are the cheaters of the mellinium

Dear frnd i am feeling like i have been cheapted by hp people, bought COMPAQ PRESARIO V3228AU from ghaziabad royal traders on july 2007, november 2007 pc stopped worked and from same day hp people changed mother board 8 times, now at present my pc is located in ghaziabad service center, tried every thing to get replacment with new model, ready to pay, hp says its now old pc we cant replace, made calls to thier head, mailed them, called helpline but no result, they says, come each time and they will replace mother board, that means i have to keep my pc with them for month and take home same which will work not more than 4 days and again u need to repeat same process, plz help frnd, let make voice against HP people, not dedicated to customers, only for thier part.

my motherboard has gone bad can please tell me how much it would cost to replace it...oher wise this laptop rocks

unsatisfactory service from compaq at kanpur,,, i have bought compaq v3228au before 4 months and now there is a motherboard prob. at servic center they say that the part is not available and and also that when it will be available
