i have this phone for almost a year now.. great phone.. just the volume is a problem.. its too low.. if i am not in the same room, the ringtone is difficult to pick..
battery is as expected, ok.. best part, a year with this phone, i must hv dropped it a million times, not a single scratch on my fone.. its working as brilliantly n looks as good as it did when i first bought it..
It is a great phone, appealing, sound clarity, awesome display, excellent photography. The draw back is low sound, low battery life, and low internal memory 7.8n mb. It is good buy for Rs 7499.00

compare with sony ericsson 800i is better,becuse wakman is better,but 6300 is view and look is good otherwise sony 800i is better

6300 is a wonderful phone, if u wana have fun and its got cooool features, the display is wonderful, 16.7 million colours, pictures bahut mast lagti hai, e series wud be a business class phone, so go for it if it suits ur requirement, my suggestion, this is a wonderful phone, only problem, the battery life is not very high

Very low battery life under normal usage without multimedia. 1 to 1 - 1/2 days.
Poor headphone sound quality. No custome equaliser.
Worst : My phone got damaged beyond repair with few drops of water going inside the headphone socket. The phone permanently switched over to Headset/Headphone mode.
Nokia care refused to repair it as they feared that phone will become dead.
Sold the phone for 7K and got a 6233 for 9K.
So friends keep the headphone scocket away from liuids.

--BAD--:
NO WAV FORMAT SUPPORT!!,AMR vol. varies at times,video quality avg(3gp only no mp4),BATTERY DRAINS IN 1 1/2 DAYS( depends on usage..!!).
What do you expect regarding battery life, with 16 million color support it wont last too long
oh-k. no mp4 is bad. no wav format dusnt make any diff. and battery is no prob at all. am luking for good, loud n clear sound. so pricky...do u suggest it is still a buy-buy fone or a bye-bye fone?
6300 is a great handset.. Have been using it for couple of weeks now.. Its loaded with features like bluetooth, 2 meg-pixel cam (without flash though), 128mb card etc.. it plays mp3 and videos as well.. the display is one among the best i have seen.. as for the cons, its the battery life.. drains out within a day with heavy usage..
Except the battery life is there any problem like bad reception of radio
i hv 2 ques. (1) JITS r u suggesting that fone after use or u have just fallen for it like i hv?

It has very good feature, but not availabilty of bluetooth is a major drawback.
The phone DOES HAVE Bluetooth-version 2.0 with Enhanced Data Rate (includes SIM access and Headset and Handsfree profiles) and stereo support for headsets.
It is sad if you cannot make sure to provide CORRECT info on your site!
