Please be careful while buying this model, rather avoid buying it. Most of the customers with this models have faced problmes with display cards within 1 year of purchasing this cell. It goes off suddenly, some of the buttons stops working etc are the common problems

I bought a 6270 in July. I have had no problems whatsoever. I think it is a very good phone with a superb sound and superb camera. I wonder why there is so much negative feedback. It may be slightly on the heavier side but that is what results in the fabulous sound.

1) It hangs frequently
2) It gets switched off very often
3) Network Problem

I had a 6270 which was giving all the problems given here.I got it repaired from Nokia and it started giving problems again.
Now they say that a specific lot had these problems.
I am getting a replacement from NOKIA on 28th August 2006.
I have already taken a new cell.
So this new cell phone with around 9months of warranty is on Sale.
Any one intrested call me.I am located at mumbai.

Hi my name is nick and i have a new 6270 with V03.66 version. I am facing the same problem like phone hanging and screen goes off. it seems like a diffect with the cell phone. keep the phone memory free and try storying ur data in the memory card. that is what we can do !!!!!!!!! thankz

hi the solution is that you will have to get the firmware upgraded at any nokia care shop. you can check your firmware by typing *#0000# . firmware version 3.66 is the latest
there is any new installation softwares to this nokia 6270 mobiles [ for eg ; call recorder is not install . so there is any new softwawares t this moble . please reply me
