Whenever I use my sound (not muted), my computer eventually goes blue screen. The results of the error reports say it has to do with my audio....recommend download latest drivers or check internet for similar problems.
I've gone to the Asus site to try to download audio drivers updates but am totally confused by which one I should download, if any at all. I don't even know if this is the problem or if the audio has just gone bad. Can the audio in a motherboard go bad? Do you have to replace the entire motherboard then?
My PC mother board is A7N266-VM with 128 MB DDR1 266MHz RAM. Now i want to upgrade my system RAM to 512MB or 1GB DDR1 400MHz. Is my pc motherboard can hold 512MB or 1GB DDR1 400MHz in slot? And 512MB or 1GB 266MHz is not available in market today? So can I change the speed of the RAM from 266 MHz to 400MHz in my motherboard A7N266-VM?
gday, just wondering if i can run DDR400 memory in my computer, i have the A7N266-VM. i would like to use 2 1gb sticks and wondering if its possible or not? Or can i only run 2 512Mb sticks maximum? Will DDR400 (PC3200) automatically slow itself to (PC2100) speed like the memory in there at the moment? Also i would like to know what upgrades are available for this motherboard?

Asus p4 bgl-mx motherboard supported with 1.8 processor, which DDR-I RAM with FSB required for upgrade ? Now it is running with 128 MB RAM. Does it support to 512 MB DDR-I(400) RAM?

I have motherboard A7N266-VM. Recently i got a problem with my RAM. One hard ware expert told me that this motherboard will support only 266 MHz RAM and all the existing RAMs are 400 MHz. Any of you could please advice me from where in Kerala I can buy a suitable RAM for my PC.

My Experience with ASUS Service Center - What a Wonder FOOL Service they give
Have you ever visited the Authorised Service Point being a customer Try that & see what support & service you get for motherboards
First you are happy when you have a ASUS Motherboard
then when the motherboard goes bad after one month
you go to the ASUS Authorised Service Points :
first you have to wait for 30 minutes or 45 minutes to give the motherboard to the service front office desk
then he says that his system is down
then inspite of having the original copy of the invoice they ask you to go to the ASP (from where the Retailer from whom you purchased the motherboard had purchased the motherboard)
Time Wasted : around 4 Hours & Money Wasted : around Rs. 250 (6 Dollars)approx
So you go to your purchase point retailer or reseller
he then asks you to go to the Authorised ASUS Registered Partner from whom he has brought the motherboard to get the challan which will be accepted by the Authorised Service Point
then you come back to Authorised Service Point again 30 minutes to 45 minutes waiting
Now they say that they are closed you have to come tomorrow
Next Day again 30 minutes to 45 minutes waiting
Now they say that they dont have the motherboard in stock they have to get the motherboard from Bangalore
I am very happy with their service after 45 Days I get my Motherboard replaced by a repaired one
You know what i DID I dumped that motherboard in the Dump Waste Bin (KACHRA PETI) near that service center

why is that website hosts old motherboard models. this model motherboard is pretty 4 years old. why is that AMD sock 939 motherboards not included.
