I have Airtel Broadband Connection in Delhi. And have a connection of 2mbps. From past few days I am trying to download files from torrent and getting very low speed. But when I am downloading through browser speed is very much normal according to 2mbps. Why is it so? and what is the solution?

I am from Mumbai.
I recently bought the logitech z623 speakers.
Used them for a month in Pune, they were fine.
I shifted to Mumbai a week ago and I have noticed that at exactly '6.45pm' I start hearing a 'static' from the speakers. Its not there during the day. It starts at exactly 6.45 and continues till early morning.
I stay at the IIT Bombay campus.
What could be the reason for this? The electricity supply? What's the solution?

I am basically looking for a phone which runs on Android 2.2 or above. My requirements are internet browsing, mobile hotspots (for using 3g on my desktop at home), facebook and 2 days battery life.

Let me introduce, Myself: Gautam from Jalgaon.. I m working in traditional business environment that, its very hard to keep track of the new happening in the tech world. So here, I thank to u guys, who help me to fulfill my thirst.

I m writing this mail for ur advice to choose between Android or iPhone.

I am always fascinated by the new tech & gadgets. From the launch of Apple iPhone, I clean bolded by its beautifulness, and sheer presence. But, my wallet never allows me to owe that brilliant device, though iPhone was always in my wish list.

I m currently using Nokia N79. Its good device but now more than 2 yrs old, and a generation behind. So its time change….

While just passing through the pages of ur site, I personally feel the strong emergence of Google’s Android os from last one yr. Though the os is getting better n better day by day, I can’t find, any Android device at par to iPhone. Google so fast updating its system that, the brand new mobile getting lagged behind every second day. (Six month ago, HTC Desire was the premier Android device, but now the crown stolen by Samsung Nexus S… Hope u got what I m talking about….)

Here I need ur advice, for clearing following confusions:

1) My shortlisted devices are iPhone 3GS or any good Android device within 25 to 30 k bracket.
2) I personally feel, Androids are like Bajaj Pulsars, (Fast, Sexy, Sleeks, but get a generation old within half year!) but iPhone like Bullet (robust, standards, made to work till eternity). My friends advised me to choose iPhone if I want to use it for next 3 or 4 yrs.
3) Paying Rs 43k on a mobile device is unacceptable. So I kept iPhone 4G out of my shortlist. (Pls advice, m I doing the right choice here? Thus 4G makes too much difference to pay such hefty amount???)
4) A seller quoted me 3GS for 29 k, factory unlocked (FU). Still I need to Jailbreak it? (What’s Jail breaking???)
5) Can I start using my factory unlocked iPhone directly by inserting my SIM in it? Or Still I need some more procedure?)
6) Can I update os of the FU iPhone without any hesitation?

Should I go to my heart and buy iPhone 3GS or to my head and opt for Android? (Or should I wait for Nokia+ Microsoft device….)
