any suggestion or comment about my configuration, weather correct for the mentioned card or not. or do you have any other good card in you mind.

I am currently using Pentium D 3.4Ghz 800 FSB CPU and Intel D102GGC2 motherboard along with nividia 6600 graphic card. But since past 2 months my graphic card is not working properly, so i am thinking of upgrading MY GPU. Will nivida 9600 GT fit into my existing motherboard or will i have to upgrade my motherboard too, IF so can you suggest me some good motherboards which has the option of installing RAM upto 8GB and also it should have the option for overlocking.
