and
256 MB DDR2(Dual Channel Supported)
and 40 GB harddisk

now i want to increase my ram to 1 GB / is it possible to extend it to 1 GB if so what specification of ram should i buy and at what price will i be gettin it.

can 1GB DDR2 Ram with 667 Mhz work on this confugration

i hav bought a new P.C...and 22" lcd.....but i hav been having problems wid my videos......they seem a lot distorted than b4....P.C configuration is as follows..:

-Intel core 2 duo
-Asus P5N-E-sli mainboard
-Asus EN8600GT graphics card
-2 G.B RAM @800Mhz
-250 g.b HDD Seagate

-Monitor-22" lcd Samsung (226BW)


....evrything else is fyn...but when ever i play a video...it seems to hav been detoriated than was in my old P.C....PLZ help.....

there is a constant ticking from my speakers and my headset. the computer place reinstalled my sound drivers and then said it worked fine for them....and i told them i would be back soon because i know it wouldnt work...and they said the technician knows his stuff blah blah and within 2 hours of the computer being on it started again.my friend diagnosed it at his place and the same thing happened and he said it was the sound card and the sound card was built into the motherboard so the board would need replacement...the computer place said it didnt have a sound card so that would be impossible

i have a acer Travelmate 2420 laptop. The problem I am having is that when I press the power button nothing happens. I have tried an external monitor hooked up nothing. Only thing is when i pull out the ac cord the laptop beeps. All lights are on though (battery charging amber/and green ac light. Help?
