why any system with windows xp/7,becomes slow while opening Acrobat 9 pro

I have PC. When in the night i stop the computer and start in the morning nothing is displaying i checked all the connection.the Fan is running the PCU also runnig. but the Display is not.
Pls help me Waiting for reply

i have pcd with p4 processer 2.66 ghz and 256 ddr1 ram
the problem is that wnen i run any converter anti various up date or any heavy programe it gets shut down suddenly and every thing in cpu stop to working only leaving a light on my pc start button and it again gets start when i switch off main power

and when i tray to formate my computer even than it gets shut down

help me what to do

I have a HP Pavalion 3208 AMD Turon, 2 memory module 512 and 1028. Three days back the laptop hanged whilr uploading game (unfortunately antivirus was off) I switched it off and then it would not turn up. All lights turn up but LCD is blank. Sometimes it would turn up but hang midway or after windows boot. I have 2 windows both are not working. I feel after i remove battery and power then boot screen comes on and i can go into safe mode but 90/100 times laptop does not turn up just lights. Also reinstalled windows after format when it turned yesterday but problem still persists and hangs midway if boots. I have removed/ reinserted/swapped memory modules but no effect yet it still boots sometimes but mostly doesnt.

my computer has 80 Gb hard disk , sata, 512 mb memory.
it has win xp servise pack 2 installed,
it keeps hanging at random times.
while playing games , typing, listining 2 music.
first keyboard gets hanged then mouse , then whole system,
ultimately I have 2 restart the syatem.

Which is the best Mother Board, Ram, DVD Writer etc.

I AM USING ORIGINAL INTEL D845 GVSR WITH WINDOWS XP SP2. MY PC SUDDENLY HANGS.

i have an intel 915 gav system with 3.0 ghz lga processor 512 mb transcend ram, the problem is that when the computer is switched on after a period of 2 hrs or more i get this error "CPU WAS PREVIOUSLY SHUTDOWN DUE TO A THERMAL EVENT OVERHEATING{} AND PRESS F4 TO RESUME, AFTER PRESSING F4 THE CHKDSK UTILITY STARTS UP AND DOESNT FIND ANY ERROR

i had a windows xp pro sp2 installed on my system...
i switched on the system after two or three weeks.
the computer showed the blue screen of death (it was fine)..
but when i tried to reinstall the system, it is asking me create a partition first before reinstalling windows..
which will format my drives..
and i have really very important data on my drive.
which i can not afford to loose at any cost.
please help...............,,,

always hangs up & while system is running get restarted automatically. what should i do?

I have Intel 845GVSR Mobo with 512 MB RAM & Seagate 80 GB Hard Disk.
I asked my Vendor to install 320 GB Hard Disk(after reading the review in Digit) but he told me that only disk of 160GB or less is supported by my mobo and installing any disk of higher capacity is a risk(mobo might not detect it he said).
Is it true? Should i trust his words? Or is he taking me for a ride?

I am using Intel D845GVSR board with Genuine Intel 2.4 GHz processor accompanied with 80GB Hard disk 7200 RPM and 256MB DDR 266 MHz RAM

No problem in my system for past 1.5 years

Recently it behaved strangely. It COMPLETELY hung while working on windows quite frequently. Sometimes even while i was making OS selection. Also it hung once while changing the setting of BIOS.

Initially i didnt know what was wrong. Hence i completely formatted system and reinstalled everything. Then too problem did not get solved.
Then...
1. Checked H/D with seatools - Found OK
2. Checked RAM with memtest86. Found OK

So Dismantled system and cleaned every part of system.
At first it seemed to work fine then again the same hell poped up again.

Accidentally i noticed the Pre-POST Message of BIOS saying
"The CPU was previously shut down due to a thermal event (overheating)".

Then i removed heat sink APPLIED new THERMAL PASTE and re-installed "properly".

But even now the system hangs unexpectedly .

P.S. MY CPU FAN SEEMS TO WORK FINE.
the CPU heat sink is cool.

I tried running without fan till it gets some good heat. it didnt hang because of heat.

So dont know what to do. Also i dont see any suspicious failure of hardware components like capacitors or IC's around my board.

Please help me on this issue

I have PIII 800mhz comp. now from the last week comp is frequently hanging and restating. I have changed RAM also but the problem persist.

Its Sony Vaio Basic Model. My loptop shuts down when it gets heated. It doesnt give me much backup. There is some problem with the battery also. The battery shows full but doesnt give me required backup. So i am right now using only electricity to run my laptop. Plz let me know what could be the problem.

on starting the windows my mouse seems to be stuck up for some time it moves very slowly & unexpectedly on moving the mouse.if i restart my windows 2-3 times then it works properly can u please tell me what to do?
