The Dark Knight Review

I saw TDK this weekend and was highly disappointed! The best movie ever? ...it will change your life? Some of you people need to put down the comic books and go see a REAL movie...one that places storytelling above explosions, has character arcs and scene development. And will leave you with a new way to look at the world. TDK had none of this. Granted Heath's performance as the joker was amazing, albeit one-dimensional and too short...but many of the story plots seemed contrived. Like what's with the two boats and the explosives...was that an upper division psych experiment or what? I'm still waiting for that action flick that will actually take the time to develope the characters so that you actually CARE when something happens to one of them. Keep trying Hollywood.
