I have this player. Sound quality is ok when paired with creative EP-830. Not very good. More like the first gen walkman phones. But for the price it is offered at and the portability with light weight it provides, its kinda worth it. I got it for 2400 bucks. U pay anything more for this, and its throwing away money. Video playback is good for .wmv files. No frame skip issues or pixelating. But yes, the display brightness is very, very low and still the battery life sucks!! :xOther features are ok too but my main gripe is that even when the HOLD button is active the screen lights up when the touchpad is touched which it invariably is when kept in a pocket. Further brings down the already miserable battery life.In response to an earlier query. Its does not have a TV-out.By the way, the touchpad is quite responsive. Never had to like press it. Touching works fine.Hoping for a firmware release which sorts out the kinks.Nice first pmp even tho the interface could do with some fine tuning.
