If debugging is the process of removing bugs then programming must be the process of putting them in

Re : Favorite PC games
Here is my list
I'll start with Multi Player
Quake 3 (the most awsome multi player game ever made .. fast and furious with countless modds)
Counterstrike (the most amazing game ever created .. great AI great gameplay, I dont think it would ever die or it should ever die)
Halo .. good game good speed but not too many players online
UT 2004, Vehicals .. I love those vehicals
Strategy games are okay to like AOM AOE and Empire Earth .. but its the lag that kills them.
FPS:- UT 2004, Brothers in Arms (the most realistic game I have ever played), MOH all the series, Chronicals of the Riddick, HL 1 and HL2, Hitman series, .. cant stop here there were so many. Battlefied series .. how could I miss on that one
RPGs .. well most of them are FPS aswell but just a few ...... ONI (awsome fight sequences), Hitman series Jedi Knight series, Half Life series,
Havent played tactical games since a long time now .. but Hitman series and CS can be included.
Racers ... I dont play racers, MotoGP 2 was the last one that I played
Simulation games:- These are my personal favorite, specially air sim and space sim .. the best and greatest ever space sim games which are also in my sig are Descent Freespace and Freespace 2 .. their storyline .. graphics .. gameplay is unparralled, since the freepsace series, there have been many failed attempts by other companies to recreate the magic.
Crimson Skies, FA18 Hornet (1997 version) FA18 Hornet (2002 Version) HIND (russian 'Hind' chopper game), Comanche Gold, Combat Flight Simulator WW II,
Been playing PC games since 1995
Any other Space sim buffs ... please HOWL !!

Re : Favorite PC games
Action: Half-Life series (I still like the original better), Thief 1 & 2, NOLF series
Adventure: Of course Grim Fandango. I also consider this to be one of the all time greatest games ever made
RPG: Fallout series, Planescape: Torment, Deus Ex (this game is up there with Grim Fandango)
Strategy - Turn based: Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (it is in my hard drive since 1999 and through many system upgrades), Jagged Alliance 2
Strategy - Real time: Homeworld series (simply because of the graphics and unique space combat)
Space sim: Freelancer (I don't generally play this genre, but I liked this game because of very easy controls)
All time greatest: Will be a tie between Grim Fandango and Deus Ex

@ Sanjuro ......... quite a unique taste in games, and how could i have missed out on the theif series .. I too like grim fandango .. the orginal jewel case still stands tall in my CD rack.
Know a place where I could get a copy of Jagged alliance (i remmeber playing the demo) and freelancer? I am yet to play Homeworld .. downloading the demo right now.
@ coolguy .. prince of persia .. all of the games are worth the money .. so were the 2d versions of the game .. according to their time.

Grim Fandango, Thief and Homeworld you could get from me. But the copy of Jagged Alliance 2 has been hijacked by one of my friends and taken to Bangalore.

lol .. I can sure trade a few games with you, I do have Grim Fandango in its orginal Jewel case. Theif and Homeworld I do need, I can surely trade in my Battlefield vietnam and UT 2003 with you, even Cronicals of the Ridd * ick ... and if you like the Action Genere, then you MUST play ONI .. though its a PC porting done of a PS2 game .. but just like Brothers in Arms.. its Awsome.
BT is good .. but it does has let me down quite a few times .. so now rely more on Music World and Planet M. Besides my download limit has come down to 1 GB which isnt enough for anything.
But I sure am game for trade ins. If anyone has the copies of Dscent Freespace and Freespace 2, please let me know coz my CDs have gone bad a long long time ago and I am dying to try them out on my 6600 GT
BTW which multiplayer games do you play?

I can burn a copy for you of the following: Thief Gold i.e. Thief I, Thief II: The Metal Age, Homeworld, Homeworld 2, Freelancer.
I already have Oni and Chronicles of Riddick. Thanks to BT and Palika :-) .
Regarding multiplayer, I once played CS and Unreal Tournament for some time but these days my speed isn't good for online gaming. Wanted to try out Warcraft so thinking of taking the MTNL 1 GB line in addition to my current Sify connection ...
