Re : Hi..Plz help me in Buying a Gaming PC
well a gaming pc my fav topic....well as you are saying..you have abudget of 22k for cpu alone...i assume you have a pocket to burn...
well then lets start...
AMD? Phenom™ 9850 Black Edition Processor w/ HyperTransport and Quad Core Technology(why go with intel dual core if you can get quad core and trust me AMD is a great value for money..and are a great performer...
AMD 790FX Chipset
ATI Radeon™ HD 4870 X2(outperfoms nvidia 9800gtx)
HDD-10,000RPM - up to 16MB cache and 300GB storage
make it two and use raid 0....
i`ll recommend WD but Seagate are also good
choose a computer case very wisely and i`ll recommend cooler master satcker..
we get liquid cooling options here in india but then again tey are way to expensive so you need to install chassis fans to keep your sytem cool...
***************************************
note-there is a way a sytem can be kept cool do some research on google and watch videos on youtube abot air cooling a pc..you will learn a lot if any problems just ask me....
***************************************
with two gb memory its a bit less for gaming pc...go with corsair xms2 4gb if money not issuse go with 8gb(you have to install vista 64bit to use 8gb of ram....
you need a good power supply go with atleast 550w i`ll say corsair or cooler master....
you can get a samsung moniter 22`` its agreat deal well i have a full HD samsung lcd and vista looks great on it and games too....samusng is the best choice.....
keyboard and mouse of your choice i dont pay much attention to them.....
speaker system.....well go with creative very good performance....
hope this helps....... ** Message edited by F2006 ** on [Wed, 10 Sep 2008 16:54:28]

I think, by CPU ALONE, he meant all parts except the monitor, not just the processor [:P]

Re : Hi..Plz help me in Buying a Gaming PC
Well, While selecting a PC for gaming always give first preference to Graphics Card. and then for CPU. As per my opinion invest in CPU and Mobo as much sufficient for one years performance requirement. Going by this Current AMD X2 and Core2Duo entry range in sufficient. Allocate this saved money in Graphics Card which will give bigger performance boost for games.
I will recommend..
1) Radeon HD 4850
2) AMD X2 5200
3) Gig 740G chipset mobo
