If your iPod shuffle was not small enough, wait till you see the new shuffle that Apple launched today. The all-new iPod shuffle claims to be the world's smallest music player which is even smaller than an AA battery. The third generation iPod shuffle is almost half the size of its predecessor at 1.8 inches tall by 0.3 inches thin and also has 4GB of storage!

Apple has moved the controls from iPod shuffle to the earbud cord, allowing it to make the new iPod shuffle dramatically smaller and also making it easier to use, with the controls located where you can access them quickly.

Another new feature includes the VoiceOver -- with the press of a button, VoiceOver tells you as the music dips down. It even announces the names of your playlists and when your battery needs charging. VoiceOver speaks 14 different languages.

"Imagine your music player talking to you, telling you your song titles, artists and playlist names. The amazingly small new iPod shuffle takes a revolutionary approach to how you listen to your music by talking to you, also making it the first iPod shuffle with playlists ", said Greg Joswiak, Apple's vice president of iPod and iPhone Product Marketing.

The iPod shuffle built-in stainless steel clip securely attaches to your shirt, jacket, workout gear, even your backpack.

The third generation 4GB iPod shuffle will be available within 4 weeks for Rs. 4,900 through Apple authorised dealers in India. It is available in silver and black. It comes with Apple Earphones with Remote, iPod shuffle USB cable and a Quick Start guide.

Specs:
Height: 1.8 inches
Width: 0.7 inch
Depth: 0.3 inch including clip
Weight: 10.7 grams
