    Offers system health of most popular services at a glance

Gmail outage has damaged Google's credibility so in a face saving effort they have launched the Google Apps Status Dashboard. In order to provide it's customer's updated information, the Google dashboard will offer a glance at the system health of most popular Google services, which also includes Gmail, Google Calendar, and the company's suite of web-based document editors.



With Dashboard you can get updates on the current status of individual services such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Talk, Google Docs, Google Sites and Google Video for business. Administrators of Google Apps for their businesses, schools and organizations can also view the performance of the administrative control panel.



 


Though Google keeps us posted through it's blog posts but this step seems like a much needed one.
