With DDR3 memory and 6-cell battery promising 11 hours of battery life
Dell has officially launched the Latitude XT2 Tablet PC laptop, which has multi-touch support. This multi-touch XT2 is a convertible laptop with a capacitive touchscreen that supports multi-touch gestures like pinching, zooming, panning, etc.. Latitude XT2 Tablet PC is powered by a 6-cell battery; Dell boasts that it has 11 hours of battery life. No information on price and availability as yet. Dell's Latitude XT2 has a 12.1-inch multi-touch screen offering 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. It also has a 2.5 cm thick chassis and runs on Windows Vista Ultimate. The XT2 is equipped with a 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo ULV SU9300 processor upgradeable with a 1.4GHz SU9400 processor. The processor is paired with Intel's Montevina chipset featuring Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics.
Latitude XT2 can support a RAM with storage space up to 5GB DDR3 1066MHz. A 120GB HDD can be added for storage with an option of adding a 128GB SSD. Other features include a SATA ODD, 802.11 a/g/n WiFi and Gigabit LAN, an ExpressCard 54 slot with eSATA, Firewire, and two USB ports.
This convertible touchscreen laptop will be available at prices starting at $2399 (approx. Rs. 1,15,000).
The one I have is about 1.4Kgs. It is really light and handy. Not like the usual laptops. As good as a netbook but performs better than any of those......

Its cool!! I'm waiting 4 times when such products start to touch 60K tag..
