    Buffalo Brings MiniStation Lite Drives to India

Buffalo has announced new portable USB drives under the MiniStation Lite brand name. Compatible with PC and Mac systems, the MiniStation Lite drives are available in 160GB, 250GB, 320GB, and 500GB storage capacities. With a stylish design, Buffalo offers MiniStation Lite drives in Blue Onyx, Ruby Red, and Pearl White colors.

MiniStation Lite drives would be available in India from February at the following price points: Rs. 6000 (160GB), Rs. 7000 (250GB), Rs. 8000 (320GB), and Rs. 12,000 (500GB). Clearly these drives are priced higher than those available from other brands such as Transcend, Western Digital, and Seagate.

Designed for active professionals, MiniStation Lite portable storage for PC includes SecureLockMobile software for data backup and syncing. The SecureLockMobile software is compatible only with Windows XP or higher versions and offers to prevent unauthorized access in the event of the drive being lost or stolen.

Buffalo boasts of the unique TurboUSB technology that enhances data transfer rates, making transfer up to 20% faster than that in other standard drives. Also, the Memeo AutoSync software allows for secure and automatic backup of data as well as management of digital data in real-time.
