Amazon, better known as an online book retailer, is likely to come up with the next version of its e-book reader called 'Kindle'.
Rumors about the next generation Kindle began to float on the web last year when pictures claiming to show a new model that sports a thinner, more attractive design surfaced.
The new Kindle is rumored to be thinner than the earlier version and robust and attractive.
The company had launched Kindle in 2007, which was capable of storing up to 200 e-books on its 256 MB memory. These e-books can be read on its 6-inch screen.
Amazon has announced that it would be holding a press conference on Monday, February 9th, at the Morgan Library and Museum in New York.
This one is surely not going to see the Indian shores for a while.
