Plans to store a comprehensive breakdown of the marks obtained by a student for each subject
Here is some good news for people who are not really good at maintaining important documents. If you have lost or have not collected your HSC or SSC mark sheets, you can heave a sigh of relief, because the State Board may now be able to print out a new mark sheet for you in a matter of minutes, according to a news report.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is having discussions with a private agency, which would supply the technology required for this project, which is going to materialize by 2010.
Instead of the sum total of the marks currently available on the Internet, the State Board is planning to store a comprehensive breakdown of the marks obtained by a student for each subject on the computer. These can then be printed out in the form of a mark sheet whenever a student requires it, the report added. The student's name and surname will be adequate to retrieve the mark sheet online.
