Compact, lightweight and extremely stylish - that's the best way to describe this beauty

The other day we had a little surprise brought to us by none other than Sony India's head of VAIO Product Marketing, Hari Muramatsu, who dropped by our office. Muramatsu was here to give us a presentation of the new Sony VAIO P Pocket PC that was first seen at the CES 2009expo in LasVegas.
Looking at the pictures of the VAIO P at CES made everyone one drool at Sony's latest creation and I'm sure if you are even slightly interested in gadgets or technology, you will really appreciate the VAIO P.
But what came as a pleasant surprise was when Muramatsu pulled out a ruby red VAIO P from his jacket. It just goes to show how small it really is. Thankfully the presentation didn't take too long and I quickly grabbed the VAIO P to get a feel of the device.
When you hold it for the first time, that's when you actually realize how light it really is, weighing in at just 594gms (with the 64GB SSD) you'll hardly feel this little gadget in your coat pocket.
The VAIO P is one sexy-looking gadget and you can't help falling in love with it. Measuring 19.8mm in width and weighing just 594gms, it is a very light gizmo. Instead of plastic, the lid is made up of a magnesium alloy making it really light and tough. There are many colors to choose from like Olivine Green, Crystal white, Garnet red and Obsidian Black.
The front houses many buttons like a shortcut switch for Wi-Fi, the power on/off slider, and your SD and Memory Stick readers. Even though this may resemble a Netbook (configuration-wise) Sony is planning on creating a new niche segment for the VAIO P, terming it a Pocket style PC that is a lot lighter and much more compact.
Sorry guts but at this price this PC is just not worth it !!! It's suppose to be a Internet device like the Asus Epc n Aspire one. N here we have this higly priced junk from SOny which is sinking day by day in the international market.
