If a user exceeds the download limit, the additional downloads are charged at just 80 paise per MB
Good news for MTNL's Triband service users! The state-run telecom service provider has announced increased downloads on all existing Broadband DSL Plans at no extra cost.
This means, if a user has a TriB 200P plan, his monthly charges will remain the same as Rs. 199. However, the user will get an increased data download of 500MB, which was 400 MB before this announcement.
For the DSL 399 Plan, the download has been increased to 1 GB from 700 MB. In DSL 599 Plan, free downloads has been increased to 2.5 GB, which was earlier 1 GB.
If a user exceeds the download limit, the additional downloads are charged at just 80 paise per MB.

Wake up you dumbasses, it been effective since 1st Jan 2009. It was announced in last week of December 2009. Just because it came in today's newpaper doesn't mean, it was announced today. How much more lethargic you guys can be???
