Logitech V550 Nano Cordless Laser Mouse

This mouse is compact, lightweight and has lots of features. It also brags about an incredibly long battery life of 18 months.

Hyper scroll function, Clip-and-dock feature, Long battery life, Works well on most surfaces.

Design is not very ergonomic, A bit pricey.

Build and Design

The mouse is small and compact, just the way you would want a Notebook mouse to be. There is no ergonomic design on this one and both sides are symmetrical, so it shouldn't matter if you're a lefty or a righty. The receiver is actually really tiny and once plugged in it can barely be seen.

The bottom features three large Teflon feet for smooth gliding even on a rough surface; a necessity, since I doubt you'll be carrying a mouse pad to every meeting.

There is an ON/OFF button on the bottom to save power when not in use. It Auto powers off when you don't use it for a long time and quickly resumes without any lag.

There's a button at the back that opens the bottom cover to reveal the battery compartment and a dock for the nano receiver. The mouse accepts two AA batteries, which supposedly should last you for around 18 months.

I have recently been to an it show and saw prices of wireless mouses that were around 800 bucks, what makes logitec soo special to keep such high price? a pair of clips and a nano receiver?
