The S-Dual is not an exceptionally good-looking speaker system. Being a 2.1 system, it has two satellites and a sub-woofer. The satellites feature a very simple design; glossy face and a naked two-inch driver. Shades of silver and chrome on the drivers make them stand out, especially on the glossy black face.
The sub-woofer of the S-Dual is the star with its unusual design. The design also reflects in the name of the speaker system - "Dual", which stands for the dual drivers in the sub-woofer. The sub-woofer sports two naked drivers one on top of the other. Even these drivers sport the same silver finish on the inside with initials "SD" - S-Dual. At the head of the sub-woofer are two knobs that may at first appear like dummy knobs but in fact controls the volume and bass. There isn't a soft power off or speaker ideal mode, but just a power switch that is placed behind the sub-woofer.
All the connectors go to the read of the sub-woofer. There aren't many connectors, just the basic input and output; output connectors for the speakers and input connectors for audio cable from PC/sound source.
