Stealth has released the small form factor LPC-650 Mini PC powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and featuring 64-bit EMT64 technology. The Mini PC from the Little PC series promises higher performance than the previously launched LPC-450. The LPC-650 ships at a price starting at $1595 (Rs. 77,500 approx.).

Stealth's LPC-650 Mini PC is powered with the Intel T8300 2.4GHz processor and is upgradeable to the 2.6GHZ Intel T9500. Within the rugged aluminum chassis, the Intel 965GM chipset and Intel GMA X3100 graphics are integrated in the system. This Mini PC features a 1GB DDR2 RAM upgradeable to 4GB DDR2.

Measuring less than two inches, the LPC-650 features a 80GB SATA HDD with an option of a HDD up to 500GB SATA or SSDs up to 128GB. The LPC-650 sans an operating system also features a HDMI port with a traditional set of connectors like Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi 802.11 antenna, a USB 2.0, and audio-video out ports.

A basic DVD/CD-RW is packed into the system with an option for a DVD burner. Although power-packed with competitive components, the lack of an operating system, keyboard-mice, and display makes the LPC-650 appear costly to an average consumer.

Why even consider this at 77k when an Apple imac mini is available with an OS and all features at 35k?
