XFX has introduced the new Nvidia GT200b GPU based GeForce GTX 295 and 285 graphics cards at a price of Rs. 39,000 and Rs. 35,000, respectively. Nvidia had announced their new high-end Geforce GTX 200 series GPUs at the CES 2009. These new XFX branded cards are available through Rashi Peripherals with a three year warranty.

As anticipated, Nvidia's new high-end GTX 295 and 285 based graphics cards have started appearing in the market. The XFX branded new dual GPU monster GTX 295 has 1792MB total video memory with core frequency clocked at 576MHz and a TDP rating of 289W. This card can be used over Quad-SLI configuration to beef up the performance of a gaming system.

The XFX's new GeForce GTX 285 has a total video memory of 1024MB with core frequency clocked at 648MHz. This card is 3-way SLI capable.

Since they are recently launched, the prices of GeForce GTX 295 and 285 GPUs are bound to be high. We should not forget that they also belong to Nvidia's high-end graphics segment as well.

Hey, I came to know that GTX quad-SLI is just 2 GTX 295s, since each one has two GPUs. So total 4 GPUs. Fine with me. Gaming memory of 3584 MB is more than enough. ONLY IF I HAD ENOUGH MONEYYY...

why go for powerhungry gtx where you get way better performance by two hd5870's (if ur mb supports crossfire)? i got a rampage extreme board with two of the 5870's and it takes care of crysis like a blaze (48.53 avg framerate JAY HO)

also, u get fantastic output for vid editing and 3d rendering with my setup( procesor q9650 and corsair 1600mhz 8gig ddr3 in win7 64bit). for gaming, you really dont need chunks of mem for, say, 2-3 more years. please state your setups all discussionists!!!

2 ati 4890 in crossfire easily beats 295... that means lesser money higher performance... its waste to buy this card for this price..

Ya stupid of me to think of memory size alone... I know it will take too much address space. ATI radeon HD 4850 or GTX 260 will be more than sufficient to play all modern games today...

My dream card!!! Think of a system with 4 of those GTX 295 monsters... It means 7168 MB gaming memory... INSAAAANEEE!!!! Waiting for the prices to cool down...

A humble advice: the card is beyond your comprehension. Please dont buy it, since it wont look good on fools who only know just one aspect of 3D accelerators, i.e. the memory size
