MSI announced new dual-core Intel Atom CPU powered CD130 nettop. The CD130 will join MSI's Wind NetTop line up. However, CD130 will run Windows Vista operating system. Price and availability are yet to be announced by MSI.
MSI's CD130 is equipped with new 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom 330 processor, Intel 945GC chipset, 2GB DDR2 RAM and 160GB SATA HDD. The CD130 will run Windows Vista Home Basic and with Super-multidrive along 7.1-channel HD audio, this nettop only misses HDMI out. Nevertheless it has D-sub port for video out.
MSI claims that the CD130 will use 40W power at full system load. Indian price of this product could be anywhere between Rs. 22,000 and Rs. 26,000. Being just announced at the CES 2009 expo, shipping of this product will take a while.
