10) F.E.A.R 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, PC):

The original game came out of nowhere and claimed its position among the top horror games of all time. It had a touch of brilliance in all aspects of design and presentation. I still remember the first teaser of FEAR; it was spooky but entertaining and laid the foundation for FEAR's success. The game was released" amid much hype but delivered on almost all levels, creating a memorable character in Alma.
