Nvidia has finally unleashed its new GeForce GTX 285 and dual GPU GTX 295 graphics chips. The images of the new dual GPU GTX 295 were already creating a buzz on the web. The GTX 295 has a dual GPU mounted on a dual PCB (one on each) monster produced using a GT200b GPU and the 55nm fabrication process. Nvidia's GeForce GTX 295 will be available at $500 (Rs. 24,300 approx.), while the GTX 285 will be available on January 15th at $400 (Rs. 19,400 appox.).

The GTX 295 chip becomes a beast by the 55nm fabrication process with 240 stream processors per GPU and 896MB GDDR3 dedicated video memory; it has a Thermal Design Power rating of 289W. Both cores of GTX 295 are clocked at 576MHz, and the shader processor is clocked at 1242MHz. The graphical boost available from the quad-SLI configuration will make any gamer drool.
