CES: Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard Unveiled

Logitech has launched its new G19 gaming keyboard with a 320x240 colored GamePanel LCD display at the CES 2009. The 320x240 colored LCD powered with GamePanel technology is tiltable and has widgets for popular web services like YouTube and Twitter and for VoIP, System Info, etc. Logitech will start shipping the keyboard from March.
The latest addition to Logitech's G series gaming keyboards, G19, continues the legacy with twelve programming G-keys and three macros per key. Up to five key inputs (key presses) at once is supported by the keyboard. Also, the backlight colors are customizable and the user can choose between game and desktop mode.
The G19 can be used with Window XP or Vista and Mac OS X 10.4 or later versions, and requires at least 20 MB HD space. This gaming keyboard is priced at $199 (Rs. 9700 approx.), a whooping jump in price as compared to the currently available G15, which has a street price of Rs. 4400. Expect G19 by mid-2009 in India since Logitech will start shipping it in March.
