The screen is foldable and turns T91 into a tablet PC
Asus has launched the T91, its latest Eee PC netbook with an 8.9-inch swivel touchscreen. The screen is foldable to turn T91 into a tablet PC.
The T91 features a 1.33 GHz Intel Atom microprocessor, surprisingly no 1.6GHz Atom, and runs on Microsoft Windows XP OS, with the Linux OS option missing yet again in the Eee PC lineup. Support for features like Intel Virtualization has been offered in the 1.33GHz Intel Atom CPU.
The T91 packs in a TV tuner and GPS (global positioning system), making it a device for people seeking entertainment on the move. It is believed that T91 will be available in two colours: black and white. There is no word on pricing as yet. Expect the T91 to hit markets in three to six months.
