The N85 is the successor to Nokia's N81 music and gaming phone. The improvements in the N85 come in the form of a 5 megapixel camera, dual slider design, OLED display, GPS, FM transmitter and Feature Pack 2 for Symbian S60 OS. As a result, the price of the phone has also gone up making it a high-end phone that will fight against the mighty N95 8GB. Let us find out how much of an improvement the N85 is over the N81.
I'd like to but this one, but some issues are real deal breakers.
1. Horrible slide action
2. Pathetic build quality- feels like it's gonna break into pieces anytime... I play games on the phone so.....build quality's important...
3. No standard Nokia charging port. USB charging's pretty cool and all but when u're out somewhere and forgot ur charger u'll be in trouble.
4. Colors appear too warm and over saturated on the OLED
What makes the buying decision more difficult is that this phone's loaded to the gills. Wonder what it costs now... 13K?
N85 is a headache ever since i bought it. Its Software is pathetic, slow and every-time I tried it to get update online after the update too I find it no different. Battery runs out anytime during IMP calls Even after the full charge. This is story of my n85 within 6 months and now 3 of its keys had been non functional. Its a Rotten phone. Nokia repairs never help solving any such problems as I have faced SIMILAR issues in my older nokia's TOO. NEVER EVER BUY any NOKIA mobile- they are just a headache and taking advantage of its brand name in the indian market. But actually they suck!
BEST WAY TO BE HAPPY .... THROW NOKIA OUT OF YA LIFE. I'LL DO! N WILL GET an iPhone or SonyEricsson
