Palm to Unveil Touchscreen Slider Phone

Folks at CrunchGear were informed that Palm will launch a touchscreen slider smartphone at the CES 2009. The Palm smartphone will run on the Nova operating system and has a portrait touchscreen. This smartphone will have a slide-down QWERTY keypad and, of course, multimedia playback, Palm Calendar, email, and contact list features will be present.
Palm is also reportedly going to launch a new mobile operating system, the Nova OS, and also anticipated at the CES 2009 expo is a Palm App Store.
Rumor mills will be busy churning out stories since the CES 2009 is just four days away. We'll update you as soon as we get more details on the new Palm smartphone.
