Set to debut in the US market mid-February next year, the 3G-less, EDGE capable Blackberry seems perfect for India
The Blackberry Curve 8900, which made its Canada-only debut a few days ago, is all set to try its luck in other markets as well, the latest being the US.
A recent screen capture of a T-Mobile USA internal website shows a list of phones that are scheduled to be released early 2009. The hot list includes the Sony Ericsson TM 506, Nokia "Supernova" 7510, T-Mobile Shadow, Motorola Renew, Samsung T119 and the Samsung Memoir - apart from the Blackberry Curve. All these devices would be out before February next year with the Curve thought to be coming mid-February.
Now, we'd like to see the 8900 here in India as well. The 3G-less, EDGE capable, Curve 8900 seems the perfect Blackberry for India considering 3G is still months (or years) away.
