The Dell XPS M1530 that we have with us today is from the Dell XPS lineup of laptops and the only one that we haven t reviewed. The other two laptops from the XPS line up have impressed us; while the smaller M1330 possessed us with its looks and performance, the Monster M1730 amazed us with its PC-like gaming capabilities and aggressive looks.
The M1530 comes with a T7500 2.20 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 2GB of RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT, but is it a performer like its siblings? Let s find out.
I agree with most points. I'm more than happy with my M1530. It's the best laptop around. Btw, the Dell dealer cut me a deal and instead of reducing the price , upgraded my RAM to 4GB
I think the 3d Mark06 score is very low (and incorrect) cause i have an XPS M1530 and i get 4314 3D marks at 1280x1024 resolution..............................the 3dmark score this reviewer is getting nearly equals that of an 8600M GT GDDR2.......................(though in M1530 there is an 8600M Gt GDDR3)............................
A typical M1530 gets ~4300 3Dmarks and ~5400 PcMarks
