After the Zenith Admirale left a lasting impression on us, today we have the Zenith Director Plus Ultra, a full-blown business Notebook that can easily double up as an entertainment and gaming Notebook.



There are three different versions of the Director Plus, all having very similar configurations and the one we have today is the full-blown version with a 9600 MGS onboard with 512MB of dedicated RAM, which is amazing for a Notebook in this category.


The Director Plus Ultra is a very stylish Notebook with a nice embossed pattern over the lid as well as the interior. So let's see how this one fares.

Zenith ships all their Notebooks in a crocodile skin type travel bag, which is probably not the best of design.

Recently I got one Dir + Ultra with Vu BT Speaker / Dongle at 36000/- online. It came bundled with Linux, but had to install XP as my son is on to gaming. Laptop is with Intel T6500 C2D, 320 GB, 1 GB RAM, Nvidia 9600GS with 512 MB dedicated RAM, DVD writer, and all other standrad ports. Please note that the nearby dealer tried to push me the same product at higher cost.

Dear Abhishek, on site warranty means that zenith will provide u a door step repairing solutions for ur laptop. But im not sure that is zenith really giving a 'on site warranty' on its laptop range. I suggest u to check it once agan that is it really coming with an on site warranty or not.

I eagerly want to purchase this laptop but im very much concerned about the reliability ,because ill be using it for long hours every day for gaming,downloading,work etc. so will it be able to sustain all the pressure?? and will it be effectively cooled?? And i have checked that this laptop comed with on-site warranty..wat does that mean??

Final Price varies from 38.5k to 39.5k... N the best of all the graphics card they provide is even better than 60k priced dell xps...That's just exell for gamers...

I'm planning 2 buy a gaming lappy...Pls gimme reasons if i shld really invest 15k more for just a stamp of dell or hp over the top of my lappy if i cld get the sm features in less price...Is zenith that bad of a company??

Dear Mayank...im a zanith user...as i already own a zenith desktop, and i dont think that its bad. But me too have to buy a gaming laptop so still wondering which one i shuold go for. This seems a good deal though !

This Laptop doesnt have 1 GB RAM!! Its got 4 GB RAM!! and 320 GB HD!!! I;ve checked the Zenith Site!! And Anyone please lemme know the final price of this laptop!! incl. taxes etc. ASAP!

the net price of this notebook is 39,900 (with 4 GB ram) on Zenith stores. But if u purchase it from any E-Mall Stores they might give u some cash back offers and some free stuff on every purchase.

i cant beleive there are no buyers for this configuration for this price!!!!! this is crazzy....anything in HP or Dell would cost not less than 50 thousand...and this is abt 40 k all inclusive...some one buy and tell uss the hand on review.
