The British-based internet media paid 5,215 pounds for the website
Looks like US President George Bush's shoe fiasco is doing good to many. We told you how YouTube benefited after the infamous video became a rage and got innumerable comments and views.
Now, after many online games on the same incident have created a ripple, Briton Alex Tew who created sockandawe.com, sold the property on eBay in just four days, he told Reuters.
The game called 'Sock and Awe' allows users to try their hand at hitting Bush's head with a shoe started getting millions of hits, threatening to overload the servers for a new humor site Tew is building. Thus, they put it up on eBay.
The homepage of the website says '47,149,778 shoes have been successfully hit President Bush in his face. Well done!' It also displays the list of 'Top 10 Bush-shoeing players' and 'Top 10 Bush-shoeing countries.' Ironically, US tops the list of Bush-shoeing countries while Pakistan comes 10th.
The buyer was a British-based internet media company and the price the site fetched on the online auction site was 5,215 pounds ($7,818), he said.
This is a cute game.
But are you faster than bush?

BEWARE OF EBAY & PAYPAL!!!
Since ex-CEO, Whitman, and current CEO, Donahoe, began implementing their "Disruptive Innovation" SCHEME against users, the site is not worth visiting. There's a reason that Amazon has beaten ebay in unique visitors to their sites and why ALL of the alternative sites are growing rapidly, while ebay continues to decline.
With ebay's new manipulative policies which includes FORCING all sellers to LIE about bad buyers and FORCES the vast majority of users to use Paypal ONLY, users are fleeing from ebay in record numbers.
ebay owns Paypal and per Paypal's User Agreement amendments, many people are getting caught in the trap, which now allows Paypal, at it's "sole discretion" to withhold users funds for 21-180 days without arbitration.
To see what users are actually experiencing, do an internet search of
