Android is undoubtedly the hottest smartphone platform as of now-and adding to its hotness will be the launch of Samsung's first Android-based devices by Q2 2009.

That's correct! Samsungs first Android based device is supposedly coming in June 2009 on the Sprint network in the U.S. The device is expected to be based on the Omnia and hopefully will get that gorgeous 800*400-pixel screen as well. According to a post on modmygphone, 30 Linux and Java experts currently working on the project and Sprint is reportedly pushing for an early completion date.

Good, now let Sony Ericsson too come up with something and we will have perfect Android Trinity!
