Firefox App Discover for App Addicts

With so many developments in apps for browsers nowadays and websites taking the risk of trying out new experiences for users, wouldn't it be nice for developers to inform you of this quickly and efficiently. No the plugins bar is no substitute. This is where App Discover comes to the rescue.

What it does is it tells you if the developer has an enhanced version/functionality of the website for you to discover. It's a neat way, the App Discover doesn't get in the way and you can just ignore it if you like. This proves to be a far nicer way to inform users as it doesn't distract you from what you are doing.

There is only one drawback; it requires the developer to put a few harmless lines of code in their html. Not a biggie but not everyone will agree. Only if it is popular will it become a standard feature.
