Images of probable 2009 Motorola models are doing the rounds of the Internet. Some of these gorgeous-looking devices might just be the boost the floundering company needs.
2008 has been a year to forget for Motorola. The year started on a bad note with lay-offs, with as many as 3500 employees getting the pink slip in January. Even with 2008 drawing to a close, the company is still reeling - thanks to the grim financial scenario in the US. If that was not all, the uninspiring products that the company churned out ensured its market share alarmingly tumbled from 18.4% in 2007 to just 9.7% in 2008.
Hopeless situation? Maybe not, because we now have some images cropping up at various communities displaying what could turn out to be a slew of gorgeous-looking handsets from Motorola. Now, we can only hope that these beauties have the "brains" to go with their overall looks.
Have a look at some of these forthcoming models. As of now, all we have are just codenames. There is no word on the specs or of a possible launch date. And yes, all seem to be Verizon branded - at least for now.
