This stunning 2.2 speaker system is from Altec Lansing's lifestyle series of desktop speakers.

Great looks, Good design, Glossy finish.

No bass or treble settings, Poor acoustics, Poor reproduction of mids, Expensive.

Following Altec Lansing's rebranding, this is the first speaker that we have received from them. Just about a month back we saw a portable solution (Orbit M) from the company but it would have been worth the deal if only it had the option of an internal power along with its external power source of AAA batteries. However, the speakers that we have with us today are not from their ordinary line-up; this hails from the company's Lifestyle series of desktop speakers.

The FX3022 looks brilliant and boasts of being a 2.2 speaker system. It's got a name along with its model number - "Expressionist BASS". Whether the FX3022 really packs a punch with its new technical design and unique looks is yet to be found out.
