XFX to Sell AMD Graphics Cards

Performance and aggressive pricing strategy might have lured XFX into partnership with AMD on add-in boards

XFX and AMD have officially announced a technology partnership on AMD add-in boards (AIB). XFX is planning to offer ATI Radeon HD 4000 series graphics cards early next year.

Soon next year, we'll see XFX branded ATI Radeon HD 4000 series graphics card; and of course, the high end dual-GPU ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 will be part of that line-up. Details of LIFETIME warranty coverage on the upcoming products hasn't been specified yet.

We have already reviewed the HD 4870 X2; there is no doubt that it's a good performer along with the other HD 4000 series cards. It's obvious that the performance and aggressive pricing strategy might have lured XFX into this partnership with AMD.
