Epson Launches Entry-level Scanner

Epson has unveiled a slim and sleek entry-level A4 scanner called 'Epson Perfection V30.'
The company deems the scanner suitable for homes and small offices. Epson claims that the product produces high quality scanned images and documents.
The V30 has an optical resolution of 4800dpi and 48-bit color depth. It measures 41mm in height and weighs 2.2 kilograms.
The scanner features 4 customizable one-touch buttons preset with Copy, Start, Scan-to-Email, and Scan-to-PDF functions for common scanning tasks. Users can customize these buttons through Epson Event Manager to suit their preferences.
Additionally, the V30 comes with Epson Scan v3.5, an easy-to-use photo and document editing software that includes several enhancement features. Plus, a set of software that provides for easy digitalization of documents is also bundled in the package.
The Epson Perfection V30 scanner incorporates the ReadyScan LED Technology. It is good to know that the white light LED technology is environmentally friendly as the ReadyScan LEDs contain no mercury, have low power consumption and heat dissipation, and virtually no warm up time.
The Epson Perfection V30 will be available this month onward for approximately Rs. 4, 999.
