Electronic Arts and 2K games have licensed Nvidia's PhysX technology for their future game titles. Both will be using PhysX APIs at their game development studios located across the globe.
The PC version of Mirror's Edge will have PhysX support, which has been buzzing over the web and Anandtech showed videos of the same.
2K Games will offer PhysX technology in GearBox Software's upcoming sci-fi title Borderlands. PhysX can accelerate hardware with GeForce 8-series or higher graphics cards having minimum 256MB video memory.
The game development industry folks are getting interested in the PhysX technology for better implementation of physics effects, which would be optimized by PhysX supporting graphics cards.
