With Macworld just a few weeks away, the rumor mills are churning overtime.
It first started with the netbook rumor and now it is being speculated that these netbooks or tablets will be powered by ARM processors.
ARM's Bob Morris neither confirms this speculation, neither does he rule it out. However, the speculation is not entirely without basis given the fact that Apple is a licensee of ARM and also uses ARM processors for iPod Touch and iPhone.
Besides, ARM-based chips consume very low power, matches performance to that of Intel's Atom processor and are cheap too.
Apple's acquisition of PA Semi also hints the seriousness of Apple towards the ARM architecture.
