Samsung has chosen to use a new liquid metal alloy, developed by the California Institute of Technology, for its latest mobile phone, S9402 Ego.
The company claims that the new alloy strengthens the product by 3 times, enhances flexibility by 1.6 times, ensures thrice the vibration absorption, and lowers the thermal conductivity by cent percent.
The new high-end dual SIM-oriented phone features a 2" AMOLED display and a 5 megapixel autofocus camera which can enable face recognition. Its other exclusive features include content, menu, and ringtones, which, the company said, are not even found in other Samsung models.
Samsung S9402 will be showcased in Russia some time in December followed by in US, UK and Asian regions. In India, the S9402 is expected to be priced approx. Rs. 18,000.
