The Lenovo S10 is available in several color options and we received the Blue one for review. The outer shell of the lid of the S10 is all glossy and has a chromed out Lenovo logo that looks very pleasant. The glossy shell attracts fingerprints, which makes it look bad, but most of the fingerprints are covered up by the color of the shell.
The hinge of the S10 is white and stands out. The laptop feels sturdy and compared to other netbooks in the market, is slightly heavy. It's just a tad heavier than the MSI Wind so much so that you won't recognize the difference but it is lighter than the Asus Eee PC 1000H.

The S10 is well loaded with connectors. On the left side there's the heat vent and the power point just beside it. External video can be sourced via a VGA port on the left, which, however, is not the most appropriately placed. Nevertheless, sufficient space has been provided so that the cables don't obstruct while using an external display as well as charging the netbook. On the left there is also a USB port and a media card reader.

On the right side of the laptop the hinge has a Kensington lock. The USB port, RJ45 port (Ethernet), audio ports and an Express Card slot, which seems missing on many netbooks, is provided with the S10.
