Pathetic review. If ZN5 and Samsung Omnia are the best, then why didn't they get the renowned TIPA award? N82 and N95 8GB are clearly the better of lots and that is why these phones are the main devices used by the people in Asia. Furthermore, they provide excellent user interface and are good all-rounders phones.
In my opinion, N95 8GB is clearly the best when it comes to daylight pictures while the N82 triumphs in terms of night pictures. The LG Viewty wins hands down when it comes to video recording.
In brief, I think you need to redo this comparison and do a more expert review, just like the one on gsmarena and allaboutsymbian. Only then, can you get a clear picture of who IS the best.
P/S N82 won the 2008 TIPA award for best mobile imaging device while the N95 won the 2007 TIPA and EISA awards. Just by looking at these can clarify which phones can substitute your digital camera.
Folks, I recently bought a Samsung Omnia i-900, and wow, it is wonderful. It has office 2007, real GPS, excellent camera, and many other things, and it kills i-phone envy hands down. But if all you are looking for is a phone + camera, then look elsewhere. If you want something far superior to the i-phone and cheaper, then this is it. Adding a bluetooth folding keyboard, i have nearly stopped carrying my laptop around, using it instead as we used to use a desktop.
Techtree fellers kindly quit becoming the marketing portal and think of providing us some really good and unbiased reviews like you did in the good old days. These megapixels of cell phones lead to Mr. Blurrycam images and certainly shoot the worst images no matter how many MP your cell phone has. How about a good review of the upcoming Pico Projector war, certainly gonna interest me if it ain't pitching for sales.
i wonder how people gets fooled with megapixels. any kid can tell that even 2000 rupee digicam can produce better images than this crap.why even bother about comparing them. these are all marketing gimmics.
mobile-review reports that the ZN5's image quality is superior to a proper 5MP digicam. If I can take quality photographs with a device that fits into my pocket, and doubles up as a phone, that's a pretty good deal.
Wow! I have never seen anything more unscientific than your sports comparisons. You could have kept your distance from the moving vehicle constant, at the least.
"We have collected camera phones from the top phone manufacturers for this review, except Sony Ericsson, as they haven't managed to send us their phones."
At least start reading the review dude!!! This is the opening para!!
