A 5MP camera phone shootout is a first of its kind from the test labs. We have collected camera phones from the top phone manufacturers for this review, except Sony Ericsson, as they haven't managed to send us their phones in time.
So without any further delay, I introduce to you'll the players.
The Players
The players have been listed in accordance with their release dates.
LG Viewty:

So first up we have the Viewty from LG. The Viewty was the first 5MP camera phone from LG. The Viewty boasts of Schneider KREUZNACH optics and Xenon flash for light assistance. The Viewty has already impressed us, but this shootout will show us how it fares in the competition.
Nokia N95 8GB:

Next up is the N95 8GB. The first 5MP camera phone from Nokia is the N95 but we aren't considering it since it had a few camera issues. The N95 8GB on the other hand does not have those glitches and is also pretty powerful for multimedia. The N95 8GB uses Carl Zeiss optics and is assisted by dual-LED flash. The N95 8GB is not known for its camera primarily but for its whole package. Let's see what it's capable of against the rest.
Nokia N82

The Nokia N82 is another one from Nokia; it is aimed primarily at providing quality camera results. This phone too employees a Carl Zeiss optics but instead of LED flash, it has a much powerful Xenon. We all know that the N82 for its price is a complete value for money. Though in the past I have recommended this phone, it was based on its overall usability. However, we are yet to find out how the N82 performs in the 5MP shootout.
Nokia N96

The Nokia N96 was released a while ago and was hyped almost as much as the iPhone. However, it failed in the eyes of many. Nonetheless, the N96 has also been chosen in this 5MP shootout. Let's see if Nokia has made any improvement after the release of the N95 8GB.
Samsung Omnia

The Samsung Omnia is one of the recently released phones; it is the flagship mobile from Samsung. It is loaded with a 5MP camera with flash assistance. The Omnia isn't much in favor, especially with its high pricing but I did like its photographing abilities. So let's place it against the rest of them.
Motorola ZN5

The Motorola ZN5 is the latest 5MP shooter I've come across. Motorola teamed with Kodak to create this great, moment-capturing device. It incorporates a Xenon flash and has pretty much impressed in its own way. Pooled in along with the rest, let's see if it can hold ground.
